The Challenge
The Becktochem laboratory operates in a variety of fields where it performs quality, safety and efficacy tests for product samples. The laboratory is required to maintain precise environmental conditions in the transportation and storage of these samples, and therefore sought an advanced technological solution for monitoring temperature and humidity for laboratory equipment, which will maintain the quality of the products and meet the requirements of the Ministry of Health's standards. And that's where Pointer came in with Pointer IoT technology.
The Solution
Pointer promptly recognized that the Pointer IoT system would meet the lab's requirements. This is a smart wireless system based on cellular communication utilizing GPRS/GPS technology. It incorporates digital sensors and a cellular communication hub, offering real-time information, monitoring, control, and location services. The system provides solutions for various fields, including logistics, controlled storage and transportation, the pharmaceutical industry, medical cannabis, the food industry, agriculture, and more. Therefore, it fulfilled all the expectations of the laboratory.
In a meticulous mapping and installation process, the Becktochem laboratory was equipped with wireless sensors in all critical areas to maintain the safety and quality of the samples. The sensors transmit using Bluetooth Low Energy technology, they are extremely sensitive for monitoring temperature, humidity, displacement, fall, magnetism, pressure, light exposure and movement. Pointer also integrated analog sensors to measure extreme temperatures of minus 80 celsius degrees.
The system's clear advantage lies not only in its levels of accuracy but also in the way information is transferred to IoT software and to a handle adapted to the regulatory requirements and strict standards of the Ministry of Health. This includes:
