Pointer is an authorized supplier of the defense establishment in the fields of transportation and transportation. By virtue of this activity, Pointer provides authorized transportation service providers with an efficient and advanced solution – connection to a route system for computerized management of approved trips (visas) from filling out details, through obtaining execution approval and up to approval for payment. The data is transferred to one of the two providers selected for this purpose by the Ministry of Defense.
The solution combines:
- A dedicated application for Android-based smart mobile devices for task management and real-time updates with the driver in the vehicle.
- Magnetic card reader connected to the smart mobile / car – for quick execution approval by the authorized Ministry of Defense at the destination station.
- Introducing a new module in the fleet management system, designed for the automatic consolidation of all current visa and travel data. This module ensures compliance with the Ministry of Defense's guidelines and facilitates the seamless transfer of this data to the designated route system via the chosen operating supplier.
