Tracking systems for Electric vehicle

Electric vehicles tracking and protection systems

The protection and tracking systems designed for electric vehicles offer a range of protective, detection, and diagnostic information services. The primary transmitter connects through an inductive adapter, which reads the vehicle's computer data and effectively counters sophisticated theft methods employed by car thieves.
This system is based on a hybrid transmitter that can receive both satellite GPS and RF locations, all combined within a single modem. Additionally, it features a specialized component for identifying cellular disruptors in the vehicle's environment, promptly alerting the operational center whenever disruptions or unusual activities are detected within the vehicle's computer.
Furthermore, the system monitors critical parameters related to the battery, indicator lights, and more. The system includes a built-in accident sensor within the unit, designed to provide eCal services. All this information can be easily accessed directly via a dedicated mobile application designed for electric vehicles.

The data sampled from the vehicle is presented to the driver on a dedicated application, including:

  • Ba• Status of the battery – the current charge level represented as a percentage.
  • Estimation of the remaining driving range until the next battery recharge is required.
  • Charging status - indication of whether the battery is currently in the process of charging.
  • Location and guidance to electric vehicle charging stations.
  • Display of vehicle location and speed.
  • Vehicle's route reconstruction·
  • An Array of Alerts: Monitoring a Young Driver, Child Presence, Vehicle Start/Stop, and More

Pointer has developed three protective configurations in accordance with the requirements of the insurance companies:

  • MAX IQ main active transmitter
  • POINTER PRIMUM IQ is the primary active transmitter, complemented by a backup transmitter.
  • POINTER TOP IQ features the primary active transmitter combined with a keyboard, and an additional backup transmitter can also be integrated.
