Pointer and Microsoft in Israel are collaborating in the world of big data and have developed a model for predicting dangerous drivers based on Pointer's data and Microsoft Azure cloud services.
Using Microsoft's technological tools and Pointer's entry into the field of big data, the companies developed a tool for predicting driver behavior based on driver driving data, which is identified by Pointer's transmitter installed in the driver's vehicle.
In addition to driving data, Pointer knows how to analyze environmental data such as the speed limit, driving area (city/seat/highway) and weather. The solution is based on an IoT platform that collects telemetry from vehicles running Poynter sensors and combines machine learning and big data capabilities to predict drivers' patterns.
Recently, the development was presented by: Noa Kedar – Product Manager and BI Expert at Pointer, Omri Mendels and Guy Bertenthal who are responsible for the field at Microsoft, at the main conference Futur of AI which discussed the latest developments in artificial intelligence and Big Data.
