Pointer Premium IQ is an active SVR, hybrid, advanced protection and detection system, developed and designed to address the sophisticated and up-to-date theft methods currently identified in the field. The system includes two telematic units, an active main transmitter with an inductive connection to the vehicle's computer for sampling diagnostic data, and an additional transmitter for backup. The system monitors diagnostic information and unusual events from the vehicle and alerts immediately upon identification of any unusual activity in the vehicle or departure from its routine conduct.
The system sends a report to the operational center in a variety of situations, including:
- Detection of cellular disruptors
- Original vehicle alarm activated
- Car moving without original key
- Connection to OBD Socket/Car Computer
- Traveling in unusual areas and times
- Disconnected transmitter
- Towing
- Change in driving patterns
The installation of the system in the vehicle is performed with minimal interference with the vehicle's systems, emphasizing user comfort. As a result, it does not require the input of a secret code before starting the vehicle. Additionally, the system is equipped with an accelerometer sensor integrated into the transmitter, which allows for the detection of accidents in the vehicle. It can transmit a distress signal and the vehicle's immediate location to the service center for prompt assistance.
